The petal weaving technique is very diverse: the choice of option depends on the type of the planned flower, the general purpose of the composition and other details. The petals themselves are woven quickly (in one evening you can make a flower "from and to") and can serve as elements of an inflorescence, as well as leaves or other artistic details.
It is necessary
- - beads;
- - wire for beading in the color of beads;
- - schemes;
- - button with four holes (flower base).
Instructions
Step 1
An extensive collection of techniques was described by D. Fitzgerald in her book "Flower Fantasies from Beads". The technique of weaving petals of the most famous flower crops is described in the corresponding chapter dedicated to the variety. In particular, the simplest way of weaving petals is described.
Step 2
Take a piece of fishing line 50-60 cm long. Pass it to the middle through the first hole of the button. Cast as many beads so that they cover the wire 4-5 cm from the hole.
Step 3
Count 4-8 beads from the end and thread the wire into the fifth (or ninth) in the opposite direction to form a loop. Tighten the wire and work in the opposite direction to the first bead that you collect.
Step 4
This is the first petal. Make about a dozen more of these petals in the same hole. Consider their location right away: shorter ones closer to the edge, longer ones in the middle. Do not make the petals too different in length, as the outer ones will have to be folded back to fluff the flower.
Step 5
After passing the end of the wire into the adjacent hole, make another group of such petals. Cut the other pair of holes with a different cut.
Step 6
The second method is suitable for weaving chamomile flowers or others with narrow petals. Cast on 12 beads on the wire and connect them into a ring. Tighten the wire.
Step 7
Cast on 3 beads one tone lighter. Thread the wire into the first row of beads, tighten the ends again. Pass through two more beads. Repeat the step until you have passed the entire ring.
Step 8
Go up to the second level by threading the wire. Cast on three more rows, increasing the number of beads by 2. Tighten the wire constantly.
Step 9
Weave two or three rows, reducing the number of beads in each next. Hide the ends of the wire by braiding into the woven petals.
