If you have a schoolboy growing up at home, this can sometimes be a real disaster. School-aged children (especially boys) often come home covered from head to toe with bruises, cuts and other abrasions. In this case, many parents keep iodine or brilliant green at home. But if iodine can simply be washed off with soap, then you simply cannot get rid of the brilliant green on the skin. And brilliant green from the floor and other surfaces is also not easy to wash. But if you use some tips, you can make your work easier.
Instructions
Step 1
If traces of iodine remain on your clothes, you can take two glasses of water and dissolve a teaspoon of ammonia in them. Is it done? Now soak a cotton swab or cotton swab in this solution and rub it over the stain. Then wash the item. Instead of using ammonia solution, you can rub the stain with raw potatoes.
Step 2
Green stains can also be removed from clothing with hydrogen peroxide. To do this, generously moisten the “stained” area on the clothes with hydrogen peroxide, and then leave the thing alone for a couple of hours. The stain should disappear. This way you can easily remove the stain from the cotton fabric (and not only). Before treating silk or wool in this way, it is best to first try applying peroxide to a small and inconspicuous area on the garment.
Step 3
Hydrogen peroxide can easily remove stains on hard surfaces such as furniture or floors. Dampen a cotton ball with hydrogen peroxide and leave it on the surface. To be sure, a cotton pad can be pressed with something not very heavy. After a few hours, the brilliant green should disappear.
Step 4
You can use rubbing alcohol instead of hydrogen peroxide. Can't remove a harmful stain? Then put baking soda on it and pour a mild vinegar solution on top. The vinegar will foam the baking soda and the stain will disappear.
Step 5
From the lacquered surface of furniture, brilliant green can be wiped off with an eraser, having moistened the stain with water before this. Zelenka will peel off easily and quickly.
Step 6
Zelenka or fukarcin can be tried to be washed off with ascorbic acid. Linoleum is cleaned of brilliant green with acetone or nail polish remover (which, in principle, is the same). After a few washes, the stain can also come off the garment.
