a small piece of flax (or other fabric at will), a string or piece of rope, threads, materials for decorating the bag (multicolored threads for embroidery, beads, appliques, etc.).
1. Make a pattern for a gift bag. Its size can and should be varied depending on the size of the gift.
The diagram shows the main dimensions: AB - two heights of the hem, into which the drawstring will be inserted, BC - the height of the gift bag, CD - its width. Thus, the AC is the side part (fold).
Please note that when cutting out, you will need to remember about 1-1.5 cm per hem.
2. Fold up the top of the pouch (the hem where the lace will be inserted) and hem.
3. Fold the pouch in half vertically (red dotted line) and sew the bottom, side seam from the inside.
4. Turn the product out, insert the lace.
if you are going to decorate the bag with embroidery or other complex decor, this must be done before following point 3 of this instruction.
