Rhyme, along with the rhythm of the line and the symmetry of the stanza, is the defining element of the poem. It is not always possible to find a word in a pair of the previous line, and additional sources come to the aid of the creator.
Instructions
Step 1
Before turning to rhyme generators, try to rephrase the already written line. There are a number of words for which it is difficult or impossible to find a rhyme. Others have a limited number of rhymes and they are all "hackneyed". A striking example: love - blood - again. If you write a lot of poetry, you already know which words are best not to put at the end of the line.
Step 2
Take advantage of all the different types of rhymes. As a rule, most poets are limited to three or four varieties. According to the principle of stressing, they are masculine (accent on the last syllable of the line), feminine (on the second syllable from the end of the line), dactylic (on the third from the end) and hyperdactylic (on the fourth from the end).
Step 3
By the principle of precision, rhymes can be precise and approximate. An example of an exact rhyme: ice is an airplane. An approximate one may be like this: thirst is a pity. The choice depends on the general rhythmic picture of the poem.
Step 4
Try to create new types of rhymes as well. Then, according to the characteristics, you may find their scientific name, but do not think that your work was lost in vain. In the future, your inventive experience will come in handy.
Step 5
Try to rephrase the line you are about to write. Replace some of the words with synonyms.
