Instructions

Step 1

Apply the design to the surface of the jar with special acrylic paints on glass and ceramics. Thoroughly wash the jar and degrease the work area beforehand. To give the picture a stained-glass effect, use a special metallized outline. It comes in gold, silver and bronze. Apply the contour lines to the glass, leave for a few hours until it dries completely. Fill the drawing area with paint up to the borders. Follow the instructions for the paints, dry them within the prescribed number of hours, then burn them in the oven. Do not apply acrylic paint to the surfaces of the jar that will come into contact with food. Do not use abrasive detergents to wash the product.

Step 2

Draw a pattern on the jar using a metallic floss. Purchase yarns in different colors, secure the end at the bottom of the jar with gel colorless glue. Loop around the decoration object a few times. Secure the thread, add another color. You will end up with a bright striped jar. If you wish, you can make two areas in this way - at the top and bottom of the can, and in the middle part, lay out a monogram thread and carefully glue it. Try to apply a small amount of glue on the floss first and leave it to dry completely. Some adhesives leave a whitish coating and will need to be replaced.

Step 3

Decorate the jar with sewn animals. To do this, circle the bottom of the can, make a fabric pattern in duplicate. Sew along the edge, turn out, mend the hole. Draw the outline of the animal on paper so that its bottom is separated by a horizontal line, and the pens stick out to the sides. Depending on the size of the can, make patterns on the fabric for three or four animals, 2 pieces for each. Sew the details of the pattern, leave a hole at the bottom. You will end up with flat animals. Sew eyes and noses for them, sew the lower part to the round bottom part. You will get a kind of cup holder. Sew the handles of the animals as if they were dancing. Insert the jar into the resulting product.
