It is enough for him to type in the console the command / set time xxx, where instead of xxx you can specify the desired amount of time, which varies in the Minecraft world from 0 to 24000.

After the day, sunset comes, it lasts exactly 90 seconds. This is a period of time when the sun sets in the west and the moon rises in the east. At the same time, every 10 seconds, the illumination of the blocks drops by 1 point, the sky first turns orange and then red.
The next period after sunset is night. It lasts for 7 minutes. The illumination of the blocks drops to level 4, the landscape begins to be covered with various hostile monsters. In the sky during this period, you can see the stars and the moon. The moon even has 8 different phases.
Then comes the final stage of the cycle - sunrise. It lasts 90 seconds and marks the beginning of the day. At this time, in the west, the moon sets over the horizon, in the east the sun rises. The illumination of the blocks increases every 10 seconds by 1 level. The sky turns first red, then orange. After rising, the moon immediately changes its phase.
