Sooner or later, any angler will want to go spinning. A beginner should not go to the store right away. good tackle costs serious money, it is better to try to make the spinning yourself.
Instructions
Step 1
Buy a reel from a specialized fishing store, preferably made of stainless steel, as well as a blank or rod, as the spinning rod will be of better quality and will last you much longer if these parts are new. When buying, you should proceed from the following calculations: a spinning rod, the length of which is approximately 2.75 m, must correspond to a blank of 4 m.
Step 2
Find some old champagne bottle corks in your home. You will need them in order to make a spinning handle. Cut off all the protrusions from them and drill a hole in the center. Then apply glue to the part of the rod that acts as a handle and slide the plugs over it. If necessary, trim them so that there are no gaps. Leave the pen on for a while, letting it dry.
Step 3
Feel each part of the rod for a seam. In this case, your attention should be focused mainly on the thickened end, in a certain place of which you will notice some seal. Actually, this is the seam you are looking for. Attach the reel seat directly opposite the seam, using nylon threads on glue for this. If you want to keep moisture out of the cavity, insert a plug into the butt.
Step 4
Mark a spot for the chok that will serve as a starting point as you begin attaching the rest of the rings. You should also be sure to pay attention to the fact that each next pass ring must be located with some offset, and not at the same distance. Moreover, as you approach the choke, the offset should increase. Attach the guides against the seam of the rod. In this case, you should not tighten them too tightly with threads, since the top of the knee may even break from a large number of turns.
