Despite the undoubted primacy in the genre of online shooters, Counter-Strike 1.6 does not get younger over the years, and therefore players have to come up with new ways to improve the already polished gameplay. One of the most popular mods on the Internet is a parachute that allows you to jump from any height without damage.
Instructions
Step 1
The parachute function is not active on every server. It is always present only in the pre-installed Zombie Mod, in other cases it is necessary to check with the administration if such a possibility is available.
Step 2
The method of purchasing a parachute also depends on the specific server. In the zombie modification, the user needs to enter parachute (in the console) or say buy_parachute (in the general chat). When the parachute is installed as a separate plugin, the commands can be abbreviated to! Bp, written in the general chat.
Step 3
If you are sure that the parachute is available to you, use the E key by default (Russian "y"). Please note that simply pressing is not enough, you will have to hold the key throughout the entire flight. Accordingly, after landing, it must be released.

The easiest way to install a parachute on your server is to download a ready-made assembly of Counter-Strike: Zombie Mod. The problem with this approach is that the zombie version of the game is significantly different from the original.
Step 5
If you only need a parachute, first install the server for CS. It can be either AMX or Metamod.
Step 6
Download modification files. Place the contents of the archive in the server folder (for example, for AMX it is cstrike / addons / amxmodx /). When using Metamod, the transfer is enough, while AMX requires "confirmation" of the plugin in the plugins.ini file - open the file with notepad and enter amx_parachute on the last line.
Step 7
Start the server. Log in as an administrator. Enter the command sm_parachute_enabled "1" in the console to activate the mod. The sm_parachute_fallspeed "100" cheat will help you adjust the speed of a fall with a parachute - as a percentage of normal. sm_parachute_cost "0" is responsible for the price of the parachute, where "0" is free for everyone.
