Now that all kinds of loudspeakers are on the market, the music lover can enjoy the great sound of his favorite song. A fundamentally important point in this case is the correct placement of the speakers in the room, since if they are installed incorrectly, the entire sound picture can be damaged, and this does not depend on the cost of the system itself.

Instructions

Step 1

When buying acoustics, you need to find out what its signal is, how directed or diffused it is. If the acoustics has a directional signal, then you can achieve the perfect desired sound only at one point in the room - if you are at the top of an imaginary equilateral triangle, at the base of which are the speakers. If the system has a diffuse direction of sound, then at any point in the room you can fully enjoy it.

Step 2

Even if you have purchased the simplest and most versatile speaker system, you still have to puzzle over how to place it in your apartment. It is better not to place the floor standing speakers close to the walls. It is also not necessary to place them in the corners of the room, which is usually the first thing that non-professionals come to mind. This should be especially avoided if the speakers are with bass reflex. Such devices need to be removed from the wall and as far as possible.

Step 3

Small columns that can be placed on shelves, on the contrary, are often useful to be placed against walls. With such a location, the sound of bass frequencies deepens and amplifies.

Step 4

Some people think that the music speakers should be turned towards the listener, shifting them towards the center of an imaginary axis between them. This often benefits the sound, but not always. If the speaker system has rich and bright high frequencies, then the best solution is to place the speakers parallel to each other, or maybe even turn them apart from each other by ten to fifteen degrees.

Step 5

In order to find the optimal placement, you will have to test different positions. Sometimes it takes a long time. Once you've identified the position in which you like the sound, mark this place with something like chalk, tape, or a put item. If there is no better place, then return to the found option.

Step 6

There are different calculations for column placement. One is quite simple. Let's say your room is five meters long. You need to divide 500 centimeters by odd numbers - 3, 5, 7, and so on. The resulting values are 1m66 cm, 1m, 0.71m and so on. This is the distance you need to move the center of the speakers away from the wall. Choose any of the obtained values.
