Step 1
When drawing an autumn landscape, the first step is to draw the horizon, that is, draw a barely noticeable line horizontally along the entire sheet in the middle. This is best done with gray paint. Next, you need to outline the banks, the river stretching into the distance, clouds, etc. with the help of gray and blue paints.
Step 2
The next step is to shape the sky. In autumn, most often the sky is puffy, so it is better to depict it with a gray-purple color. To make it look more believable, you can leave small gaps.
Step 3
Next, you need to arrange the banks. To do this, you need to take a brown paint and a fairly dense thick brush. Pick up paint on a brush and carefully depict the banks, applying paint in stripes. It is worth remembering that in the foreground, the width of the river should be quite large and gradually narrow, going into the distance. The shores themselves in the foreground should be painted in a darker color, and in the background - in a lighter color.
Step 4
Decorating tree trunks is a pretty fun process. You need to draw black paint on a brush and first draw dark stripes along the river, then give them the shape of trunks, draw gnarled branches.
Step 5
The next stage is foliage decoration. It is necessary to draw red paint on a soft wide brush and draw a bright crown with small strokes.

The final stage is the design of highlights and shadows. On the left side of the trees and foliage, use a light paint to set highlights, and on the right, use a brown one - shadows.
