Spore is one of the most unusual game projects ever to see the light of day. The product is incredibly easy to learn, everything is almost intuitive in it - including installation. However, novice PC users may have some difficulties due to the variety of the proposed configurations, but it is not so difficult to understand the intricacies.
Instructions
Step 1
When you buy a game on Origin, everything will be done for you. You just need to go to the corresponding client menu and “add the game to the cart”, then move to the “purchase” item and pay for the chosen one. After that, the "purchased games" menu will be replenished with the Spore game, and you will have the opportunity to install the product with a single click. Please note that the game will be downloaded from the Internet, and therefore you will need a stable and relatively fast connection that allows you to download about 5 GB.
Step 2
If you are installing the product from physical media, follow the instructions in the automatic installer. You will need to specify the installation location one by one, “agree with the license agreement” and determine the installation package. However, there are variations of this process: if you purchased the gold version, then you still need to select the add-ons to install. It will also be possible to skip most of the customizable options by selecting the "automatic installation" item.
Step 3
Check for all required drivers. If the game was purchased on a physical medium, then all the necessary updates will be included, otherwise you will have to manually download them from the Internet.
Step 4
When purchasing add-ons such as Galactic Adventures, you will need the original game. Addons are only installed on top of the starter product, and therefore you simply cannot play without it. The exception is the Gold Edition, which includes all three components of Spore. All of this is true for Origin, too - however, it will warn you if you try to purchase an add-on without being able to launch it.
Step 5
After installation and launch, the game will try to connect to the online server in order to check for updates and the licensed product. Therefore, a prerequisite is a stable Internet connection: if it is interrupted during the game, a number of functions and extensions will be unavailable.
