Knitted toys are great fun for a child. They contribute to the development of fine motor skills of the fingers, give a unique tactile sensation, are environmentally friendly and safe. And besides, they keep in themselves the warmth of the mother's hands, which connected them with care and love. Try making a rattle flower - your baby will surely like it.
It is necessary
- - cotton threads in two colors;
- - hook;
- - filler for toys.
Instructions
Step 1
Choose the right yarn. It is best to knit toys from medium-thick cotton threads. Choose two contrasting shades - for example, white and red. Before work, check if the threads are shedding, because the baby will definitely want to check the new toy for a tooth.
Step 2
Start working from the center of the future toy, with a red thread. Tie three chain stitches and close them into a ring. Tie the second and subsequent rows in a circle with single crochet columns. Knit three rows with red thread, continue the next four with white. Work the final three rows in red again.
Step 3
Tie another circle following the pattern described above. Fold both pieces together and fasten them together, knitting around the edge with single crochet stitches. Without closing the strapping three centimeters, interrupt work and fill the workpiece with filler - cereals, peas, cotton wool or plastic balls.
Step 4
The weight of the toy and its purpose depend on the choice of filler. Barley groats will turn a knitted flower into an interesting rustler, plastic balls will make a rattle out of it, and toys filled with cotton wool can be hung from a homemade mobile over a stroller or crib.
Step 5
Turn the finished round pillow into a beautiful flower. Take the red thread and knit five double crochets from the first loop. Skip three loops, and from the fourth knit more to sing the same columns. Thus, complete the entire row. You get a flower with rounded fringed petals.
Step 6
You can knit the petals differently. Draw knots around the edges of the blank pillow. Pull the thread through the column of the last row, knit four stitches and secure them in the same loop with a double crochet. Knit such knots every four loops. In free spaces, attach plastic or metal bells with a strong "ear" with the same thread.
Step 7
Decorate the center pads of the flower. They can be embroidered, depicting a smiling "smiley" with black, fading threads. Try to sew strong bone buttons on the cushion - the child will feel them, training fine motor skills of the fingers. If you plan to hang the flower above the bed, attach a string to it, tied from a chain of air loops.
