Fehu - the first rune of the futarka, its name is translated as "cattle" meaning "property". This is the rune of ownership, property, material wealth. It also symbolizes the beginning, a new process in any of the spheres of life. Fehu is associated with the god of the sea and wealth Njord, as well as with his children: Frey and Freya. The rune has a multifaceted interpretation both in fortune telling and in the creation of amulets.
