To reduce it when transmitted over network connections, the image is reduced and compression algorithms are used that degrade the image. When browsing, use the controls of the flash player. Many web resources of this kind create their own version of such a player, so the set of available settings may vary. The minimum set includes the ability to adjust and completely mute the volume, as well as a switch for viewing in full screen or standard sizes. The original size of the picture in such players is not large, most often 720 by 540 pixels, so distortions become noticeable in the full-screen image.

A slightly better quality television image can be obtained on sites that do not organize broadcasts themselves, but offer everyone who wants to convert the channels available to them into streaming video. To view such broadcasts, a special program is required - one of the most common is called SopCast. Most often, amateurs organizing broadcasting from the TV channels available to them gather on thematic sites - for example, there are web resources where fans exchange broadcasts of football matches and TV shows. On the pages of such a site, you will find a link and an explanation of what exactly its author broadcasts to the Internet. Click on the link and the SopCast application with a small preview screen will launch. You can expand it to full screen or redirect it to the standard video player installed on your operating system.
