Known all over the world, the Rubik's cube needs no introduction. Despite the seeming simplicity of the design, not everyone succeeds in quickly and correctly assembling the puzzle. To master the rules for drawing up the faces of a cube, you need to learn how to understand assembly diagrams. Take some time to learn the sequence of actions, and you can confidently solve the most difficult color combinations.

It is necessary

  • - Rubik's Cube;
  • - cube assembly diagram.

Instructions

Step 1

Familiarize yourself with the designations of the faces used when assembling the cube. Each of the sides of the puzzle in the diagrams is usually indicated by an alphabet letter, and both Cyrillic and Latin can be used:

F (F) - facade;

B (U) - top;

H (D) - bottom;

L (L) - left side;

П (R) - right side.

The designation of the rear surface of the cube Z (B) is rarely used in diagrams.

Step 2

Understand how actions are indicated on the individual sides or layers of the puzzle. Typically, in graphical diagrams, the rotation is expressed by an arrow. An arrow with two end triangles means that you need to make two turns in the given direction.

Step 3

Consider the assembly diagram you have. If it has the designations F ', P', then the upper comma indicates that the named face should be rotated 90 degrees counterclockwise. With the help of a combination of letters and numbers, for example, F2, L2, the need to rotate the face by 180 degrees is indicated.

Step 4

Pay attention to the color of the edges in the diagram. If the side of the cube is not colored in the diagram, it does not need to be fixed during assembly, it can subsequently change its status, for example, from front to bottom.

Step 5

When studying the description of the sequence for completing the puzzle, keep in mind that each assembly stage is defined by a picture, which shows the initial position of the small cubes, which will be rearranged in this step. The following is a description of the sequence of individual actions and the type of cube after the completion of the operation.

Step 6

Before proceeding with the direct assembly of the Rubik's cube, remember also that all operations are aimed at the layer-by-layer assembly of a large cube. First, the bottom layer is assembled, then the middle one, located parallel to the bottom, and at the very end - the upper part of the puzzle. Follow the steps on the diagram clearly, and you will be able to install all the elements in their place in the shortest possible way.
