Plot of the film
The Fast and the Furious: Hobbs and Shaw film starts two years after the events of Fast and Furious 8 and is its spin-off. The film focuses not on the main character of the racing franchise, Dominica Toretto, but on two members of his team - the special agent of the diplomatic security service of the Czech Republic Luke Hobbs and the former British spy Deckard Shaw. Ever since the events of the movie "Fast and the Furious 7" they have been sworn enemies, although they have already managed to work shoulder to shoulder.
According to the trailer for the tape, released on February 1, 2019, the heroes live their own lives and are in no hurry to take on any serious business. However, another threat looms over the world in the form of a powerful criminal Brixton, who has subjected himself to several genetic modifications and is now virtually invulnerable. He manages to capture an extremely dangerous biological weapon and easily defeat MI6 intelligence agents, one of which is Hattie Shaw, the protagonist's sister who has already appeared in previous films.
At Hattie's insistence, MI6 recruits Hobbs and Shaw as proven crime fighters to confront Brixton. But they don't even know how serious the threat is. Key events of the film will unfold in various parts of the world, even such exotic ones as Samoa and the vicinity of Chernobyl. The film has absorbed the best that was in all the films of the Fast and the Furious series: exciting races in various types of transport, spectacular stunts, fights and, of course, excellent humor: the main characters still do not get along with each other, which constantly turns out to be funny situations.
