The simplest knitted heart.

Hi friends. Valentine's Day is approaching and we still have some time to prepare valentines for our friends. Knitted hearts of different sizes can be presented as a keychain or pillow - it all depends on the size of the present. My heart is 11 cm long and 12 cm wide. The proposed scheme can be either increased (if you want to knit a pillow, for example) or decrease (for key chains).

So let's get started.

1 row - 6 loops in the amigurumi ring, tighten well

2 row - an increase in each loop - 12 loops (we knit ordinary single crochet)

3 row - (sbn, pr) * 6 times - 18 loops

4 row - (2 sbn, pr) * 6 times - 24 loops

5 row - (3 sbn, pr) * 6 times - 30 loops

6 row - (4 sbn, pr) * 6 times - 36 loops

7 row - (11 sbn, pr) * 3 times - 39 loops

8 row - (12 sbn, pr) * 3 times - 42 loops

We knit rows 9 and 10 without increments - 42 loops. We leave the end about 10 cm at the thread, cut it off.

As a result, we should have a cup. In total, we make 2 such details

We connect the details with a loop as in the photo (or in the way you are used to)

Next - we knit a pony circle, I have 82 loops. I will not make the deductions around the edges of the heart, but right in the middle. And this will not be a classic decrease - 2 loops together, but 3 loops. To be honest, there comes a moment when I stop counting the loops and focus on the drawing. The decrease will look like this:

And on canvas it looks pretty neat

Knit until you have three fingers freely going through the hole and start filling the heart. Ears can be stuffed earlier - if this does not prevent you from knitting. I use holofiber and I recommend it to you - it is much more pleasant than padding polyester and then it can be distributed over the volume, even if the packing density is different in different places of the toy.

We knit a heart and close the knitting in a way convenient for you. If you knit such toys for the first time - continue to knit with decreases, when there are about 10 loops left - make the usual decreases between triple loops, pull the last 4-5 loops and hide the end of the thread.

How to make your heart bigger or smaller

According to this pattern, I knitted hearts of different sizes. If you need a smaller option, knit not 10 rows at the cup, as in my description, but 6 or 7. In this case, you can do not 2 rows with three increments, but one. If you want more pronounced ears, knit more rows with three increments (if we look at the example of this scheme, then in the 9th row we make increments after 13 sb, and knit 10 and 11 without increments). You can also increase the number of rows without increments - make them 3 or 4, it all depends on your preferences. I settled on this option.

If you need a larger heart, then we add 6 loops in a row until it seems enough to you.

There is an aesthetic moment - some needlewomen in each subsequent row make increments with an offset so that at the first stage a hexagon does not turn out. I don't see this as a problem - then we neatly make a cup anyway. But if you are used to this, I do not insist.

There are many schemes on the Internet in which deductions are made not in the center, but along the edges. I refused this option, because such reductions then shift and do not look very aesthetically pleasing.
