A light knitted dress is an indispensable item on hot summer days. To knit it with knitting needles, you need to be able to knit purl and front loops, make decreases and increases.
It is necessary
- - 400-500 g of cotton yarn;
- - knitting needles number 2.
Instructions
Step 1
Summer dress should be lightweight. Therefore, to knit it, you will need thin cotton yarn.
Step 2
The number of loops for the dialing row is given for size 44-46, if your size is different, then make a calculation based on your measurements. Before you start knitting, make a blank to calculate the density.
Step 3
For the back, cast on 92 loops on the needles and knit 3-4 centimeters with a 2x2 elastic band. Next, continue to knit with front stitch 40 centimeters straight.
Step 4
Start decreasing in every twelfth row 4 times, one loop at a time. Then knit straight without increments or increments to the armholes.
Step 5
Start knitting the armhole. To do this, decrease in every third row 6 times, one loop. Next, knit 3 rows straight and divide the knitted fabric in half.
Step 6
Mark the center loop. Close 12 loops on both sides of it and knit, making out the neckline. To do this, decrease the neckline 6 times, one loop in every sixth row. At the same time, decrease for the shoulder 3 times, 6 loops in every second row.
Step 7
Knit the part of the front in the same way as for the back, but at the level of the decrease for the fit, knit together every 6th and 7th loops, with a yarn over. After one centimeter from the beginning of knitting the armhole, divide the work in half, mark the middle loop and subtract the loops of the front neckline in the same way as on the back. Tie the armholes and the shoulder in the same way as on the back (see step number 5).
Step 8
Small sleeves "wings" will very much decorate such a laconic dress. To do this, cast on 26 loops on the needles and knit 50 centimeters. Tie 2 symmetrical pieces each. Fold them right side in and sew over the edge.
Step 9
For neck tape, cast on 150 stitches on the knitting needles. Knit 3 centimeters with 2x2 elastic.
Step 10
Use a sewing machine to sew shoulder and side seams. Sew in wing sleeves. Moisten the dress, lay it out on a flat and smooth surface, straighten it and let dry completely.
