Step 1
Make patterns according to the sketches provided. This is a small piece, so you won't need a lot of material. We have two owls, with closed eyes and with a smile, for the first time it is better not to change the patterns, then the product will be more attractive. With the advent of experience, you can complement the idea. The body is made of felt; a different color is chosen for the head. Also, decorative elements in the form of frills are made of fabric. Since we have small products and details will be small, it is difficult to overcast the ends. It is better not to overcast fabric blanks, but to process them with glue along the edges, then they will not bloom. It must be remembered that the body is completely made of felt, and the fabric parts are glued with glue to the right places, but at a later stage.
Step 2
All items for crafts must be prepared. Cheeks are drawn on the head. You can use not pastel, but acrylic on the fabric. If you have suitable blanks for decoration - flowers and bows - attach them to the right places before assembling. The gathers are glued from bottom to top, that is, first the bottom frill is glued, and then the next one, and so on. Where the fabric will be layered onto the felt at the top, a tape is applied. Accordingly, it should be the same size as the arc along which it will be hemmed.
Step 3
You do not need to be zealous with the decor, since the product is quite small. If there are no such elements, but there is a very thin ribbon or colored threads, you can make bows, flowers from ribbons, embroider decorations. If you decide to make flowers, do not forget to sew the middle. It can be embroidered with threads or made of beads and a small bead. Flowers are attached to the head, as a woman's hair decorates, or in the form of a brooch.
Step 4
To make the details even, first a fragment is cut out of felt into two parts. Then it is folded in half, a paper pattern is applied on top. All three elements are cleaved with a pin and cut out blanks.
Step 5
The eyes are not glued immediately to the head, but to circles that make the image of an owl so unforgettable. That is, first you need to glue the circles, on top - the eyes. In an owl with closed eyes, eyelashes are embroidered with a seam. First, two semicircles are made up, and then, separately, each eyelash is embroidered. The second owl makes a smile.
Step 6
When it's time to sew the wings, they put filler in them. Do not forget that the wrong side of felt is not very visible, but it is still better to adhere to uniformity. You can use synthetic fluff, it is best suited for such a craft. The body itself does not need to be filled with it, it is needed for other parts. It is stronger than cotton wool, but not as airy as a synthetic winterizer. Now clip the pieces together.
