Step 1
Make salt dough figurines. The material is good because, after hardening, it is a dense mass that can be easily painted and decorated. Mix flour, water, vegetable oil and salt into a soft and elastic mass. Roll three balls of different shapes and blind them together - you get a funny snowman. Make "eyes" for him - two black beads, an orange plasticine carrot nose and cut out a mouth on his face with a thin needle. In the upper part, make a hook for which you will hook it to the Christmas tree - unbend a regular paper clip and pierce the craft. You can mold anything from the dough - a Christmas tree, figurines of fairy-tale characters or animals, stars, houses, etc. Fold the finished figures on a sheet and put in the oven for 40 minutes. The dried figures can be painted and varnished.
Step 2
Make eggshell toys. You will need blown eggs - pierce both sides of the shell with a needle and discard the contents of the egg. Put an empty egg on a piece of plasticine, giving it stability, and get to work - the shell can be painted, pasted over with pieces of colored paper and foil, wrapped with multi-colored threads, covered with plasticine, etc. The method of decoration depends on the idea - you can make a penguin, an animal's face, a snowman, etc. from an egg.
Step 3
Make beaded crafts. Products made of beads strung on a wire can decorate your Christmas tree - they look exquisite, bright and very beautiful. Make small Christmas trees from diagonally twisted pieces of wire, mother-of-pearl snowflakes, droplets, or bells.
Step 4
The easiest way to decorate is with paper toys. Available and varied materials - colored, corrugated, glossy, embossed, etc. From small rings you can assemble a long garland, glue beads, cotton wool, pieces of fabric on pieces of cardboard and create a volumetric applique, make simple paper lanterns, etc.
Step 5
Make thread pom-poms. For those who are engaged in needlework, small skeins of yarn, scraps of thread are always left in the house - you can make pompons from them. Round multi-colored balls will be a wonderful decoration for a Christmas tree, besides, you can leave whole compositions of them - connect several pom-poms together, decorate with colored paper, nuts, etc.
