Step 1
Become familiar with the basic concepts of music theory. Explore your recording system. The notes are arranged on five lines, which are called the "staff." At the beginning of each line of the staff, a treble clef is placed. Notes can be placed on rulers, in between, above the rulers, and below the rulers. Examine the alteration signs. The "sharp" sign raises the pitch by half a step, "flat" - lowers it by half a step, "bekar" - cancels both signs. Memorize the notation of the fingers. On the right hand, from the thumb to the ring finger, are designated by the letters: p, i, m, a. To designate the fingers of the left hand, numbers are used: 1, 2, 3, 4. The thumb is not used on the left hand: it rests on the neck of the guitar on the other side.
Step 2
Learn the location of the notes on the guitar fretboard. Open strings correspond to notes (from the first - the thinnest, to the sixth - the thickest): "mi", "si", "salt", "re", "la", "mi". The first string sounds like "mi". You can also find the same sound on the second string. To do this, place your finger on the 5th fret of the second string. If the guitar is tuned correctly, the sounds of the open first string and the sound of the second one pressed at the 5th fret should match. Practice and find all the "other" E notes on the guitar fretboard. Do the same for the other notes. This will help you remember their locations more quickly.
Step 3
Learn a simple one-string piece. Pay attention to the duration of the notes. The whole note lasts as a count of 1i-2i-3i-4i. Half lasts like 1i-2i. Quarter - 1i, eighth - 1 (or "and"). Take on more difficult pieces. When you're ready, give a short presentation to your family or friends. The experience of public speaking will help to get comfortable psychologically, because going on stage with an instrument in hand is not such an easy task. Fight the fear, it can be challenging the guitarist, this can be a real problem.
