Born to be an engineer
Looking through the biography of Sergei Chekryzhov, an ignorant person may be surprised. The composer was born on September 30, 1967 in a Moscow family of engineers and technicians. The boy grew up in an atmosphere of love and care. From a young age, he showed good memory and hearing. He could easily memorize melodies and hum them without mistakenly. The parents were attentive to the interests of the child and tried to develop the rudiments of talent in him. When the time came for the boy to go to school, Sergei had already tried to compose music, since there was an instrument in the apartment.
In parallel with general education, Sergei began to attend a music school. He studied easily and did not bring additional trouble to his parents. Having received a certificate of maturity, he decided to get a specialized education at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Moscow State University. In 1989 he defended his diploma and entered graduate school. It turned out that Chekryzhov's career as a scientific worker did not work out. There were good reasons for that - he was seriously carried away by musical creativity. Two years later, he dropped out of graduate school and finally went to work in the famous pop group "Accident".
For such a somersault, the graduate student "matured" for several years. In this context, it should be noted that amateur performances are organized in the most serious way at Moscow State University. The student theater of miniatures and various musical groups have been operating for many years. Student Chekryzhov could not by any means pass by the opportunity to demonstrate his talents. He played keyboards professionally. He sang decently, although his voice was not yet delivered.
Happy "Accident"
It all started with the song "Vegetable Tango". The "NS" group came to the sponsored pioneer camp with an incomplete performance. Chekryzhov agreed to play along with famous accordion performers. The same evening, the leader of the "National Assembly" invited Sergei to join the team. So the first step was taken towards the beloved profession. At the same time, it must be said that the work, although beloved, demanded full dedication. The student collective created vocal and musical compositions, recorded albums and toured the cities of their native country.
Keyboard player Sergei Chekryzhev made not only a serious contribution to the development of the NS group. He managed to unlearn the specialties of conducting and composition at the Moscow Conservatory. Free television was actively developing in the mid-90s of the last century. TV channels and TV programs appeared like mushrooms. And they just disappeared without a trace. Sergei became a sought-after composer after he wrote the music title for "Author's Television".
Almost nothing is known about the personal life of Sergei Chekryzhov. The musician and composer strictly guards the secrets of his family. Husband and wife should not bring their successes and problems to public display and discussion. The intimate sphere does not tolerate hustle and bustle. It is a pity that not all of these rules are understood and accepted.
