Vampire legends have been around for centuries. These mysterious creatures feeding on blood excite the imagination of modern man no less than during the Middle Ages. A vampire costume may be needed for the stage, and for the carnival, and for the role-playing game. To create an image, it is very important to choose the right makeup.

Deathly pallor

Everyone who has ever written about vampires notes one of their characteristic features - a special pallor when there is not a single blood in the face. Even a very pale native of a northern country seems ruddy compared to a vampire, because the completely white color of human skin, without pinkish or brownish tints, is extremely rare in nature.

A professional actor or popular TV presenter uses ordinary makeup or face painting to create such an effect. But there is a fairly easy way to achieve this. To do this, you will need:

- foundation on a white base;

- white powder.

Before you start to make up, prepare your face. With the same cosmetic that you usually use to cleanse your skin, carefully remove the remnants of makeup and lubricate your face with moisturizer. Then apply white foundation all over your face, and on it - white powder. The face should look like a theatrical mask. Places where there will be shadows, you do not need to powder, but you need to lubricate with white cream. If there is no suitable powder, high quality wheat flour will do, you need very little of it.

Theatrical make-up is very dry to the skin. If you are making up for a party, it is advisable to do without it, since modern decorative cosmetics allows it.

Draw eyes

The credibility of the image of a vampire largely depends on how the eyes are made up. You need:

- contact lenses of a vampire look;

- black mascara;

- black eyeliner;

- shadows.

Insert contact lenses - yellow or blue with huge pupils. It is better to choose shadows in dark cold tones - gray, blue, green or purple. A combination of several colors is possible. Apply shadows around the perimeter of the eyes in wide spots, from eyebrows to cheekbones. Blend them. Trace the edges of the eyelids with thick black lines.

If you have two shades of eyeshadow, apply darker ones on the upper eyelids, and lighter from the upper eyelids to the eyebrows and from the lower eyelids to the cheekbones.

Apply mascara. Don't make your eyelashes too long. Mascara is needed to make the eyes appear more expressive.

Mouth and teeth

Famous vampire fangs are best prepared in advance. They can be made from block porcelain or papier-mâché. Artificial nails will also work for this purpose. Paint them with white varnish and glue them to your teeth. If desired, you can find ready-made fangs in stores, they are sold in the same place as vampire lenses. The teeth are also useful for other costumes - the bat's teeth are exactly the same.

For vampire lips, choose a dark red, cherry, or burgundy lipstick. A contour pencil will not hurt either. Contour the lips so that they are larger than your own. If the lines are not quite straight, it's okay, this will only make the image more expressive. Paint your lips with lipstick. The image is ready. For completeness, you can draw a few drops of blood on your chin with the same lipstick.
