It is necessary

  • - thick paper for drawing or sketching;
  • - pencils of varying degrees of hardness;
  • - ruler;
  • - eraser.

Instructions

Step 1

Explore the various images of the Eiffel Tower before getting started. It is advisable to consider it from different angles. Estimate its proportions, weaving of floors, shape of the base. Check the photo as you paint. It is not necessary to copy the image - the photo will be needed for greater accuracy and reliability of the drawing.

Step 2

The tower has the shape of an acute-angled triangle with a moderately wide base and a strongly elongated top. Using a ruler and a medium pencil, draw this shape, dividing it in half with a vertical line.

Step 3

Draw four contour lines to mark the outline of the future tower. With the first line, cut off about a fifth at the base. The next two are closer to the center, and the last one separates a small area at the apex of the triangle.

Step 4

The next stage is drawing the inner contours. Imagine three pyramids stacked on top of one another. Draw double lines separating each part of the tower. Within the largest pyramid, draw a triangle and draw side lines in the two lower pyramids. They should smoothly connect with each other, forming the silhouette of the tower. Erase the auxiliary strokes with an eraser.

Step 5

Trace the outline of the drawing with a soft pencil. Draw an arch at the base, and a horizontal beam on top of it. Draw a balcony in the center of the tower. Circle the silhouette of the tower in a double line using a ruler. At the bottom of the picture, sketch out the outlines of the tree crowns.

Step 6

Start sketching the inner structure of the tower. Draw double horizontal lines along the entire height - they should be located at an equal distance from each other. Don't forget to draw the base of the tower and the arch. Mark a spire at the top.

Step 7

In the cells formed by the horizontal lines and outlines of the tower, depict the steel floors in the form of oblique double crosses. Draw the floors on the balconies with double vertical lines. Check the resulting sketch against the photograph of the tower. Erase the bad strokes and trace the entire drawing with a soft pencil.
