A children's synthesizer has significantly fewer functions than a regular one, but it has a specific "eight-bit" sound. For this, he finds adherents not only among children, but also among music performers in the genre that is called “8 bit”. The user interface for inexpensive children's synthesizers from various manufacturers is usually standardized.
Instructions
Step 1
Turn the synthesizer on and off with a mechanical switch (usually called "Power"). Its on position corresponds to a lit LED of the same name.
Step 2
Use the two arrow keys labeled "Volume" to adjust the volume.
Step 3
Use one of the eight instrument name keys to select a virtual musical instrument.
Step 4
Use one of eight keys with different rhythm names to select automatic accompaniment.
Step 5
Use the two arrow keys labeled "Tempo" to adjust the tempo of the automatic accompaniment.
Step 6
To play virtual percussion instruments, use the four named keys.
Step 7
Press the key labeled "Select" to select the mode of operation of the above four keys: either simulated percussion or simulated animal voices.
Step 8
Press the key named "Record" to turn on the recording mode. The corresponding LED will light up. Play the melody, keeping in mind that the instrument has limited memory. Press the same key again and the LED will turn off.
Step 9
Press the "Play" key. The recording will start playing. Use the Tempo keys to change the playback tempo if desired. If drums or animal voices were used during the recording, press the Select key and they will sound in a different mode on replay. Likewise, you can play a melody on one virtual instrument and play it back using any other.
Step 10
Remember that the synthesizer is two-part in normal mode, and monophonic in recording and playback mode. Automatic accompaniment plays one of the voices. It cannot be recorded and played back. When you turn off the synthesizer, the recording you made is erased.
Step 11
If even the minimum volume of the instrument sounds excessive to you, connect in series with the dynamic head a resistor with a nominal value of about 100 ohms and a power of at least 0.5 W.
