It is necessary

  • - bright maple leaves;
  • - a plate of a suitable shape;
  • - newspaper;
  • - PVA glue.

Instructions

Step 1

Collect maple leaves without damage. Remove the petioles from them. Place the leaves in a book and put them under pressure for 24 hours. This procedure will slightly smooth the leaves and will be easier to work with in the future.

Step 2

Place the plate upside down on a work surface. Pour PVA glue into a wide dish. Pull the newspaper into pieces that are three to five centimeters in size. If newspaper is not available, heavy paper towels or napkins can be used.

Step 3

Take one piece of newspaper / paper at a time, dip it in the glue so that it gets completely wet, and glue each piece onto an upside-down plate. After gluing one layer of newspaper, add two more layers on top of it (this is necessary in order to make the vase more durable).

Step 4

After all the layers of the newspaper are decorated, glue the leaves to the craft. Take one maple leaf at a time, dip it in glue, then place it on a plate. To make the product look prettier, glue the leaves as follows: first, put the foliage along the edge of the craft in a circle so that the pointed edges of the leaves go beyond it.

Step 5

Next, put the next layer of leaves, but already in the central part of the craft. They can be placed in a chaotic manner, but always so that there are no gaps through which one could see the newspaper. Leave the product to dry at room temperature for at least a day.

Step 6

Separate the dried workpiece from the plate and place it in front of you with the bottom down. Soak previously prepared maple leaves in glue for a minute, then glue to the front of the product. The variant of the arrangement of the leaves does not matter, the main thing is that the newspaper cannot be seen through them.
