Each person at least once in his life tried to look at stereograms - sets of repeating small pictures, peering into which, you can see a certain new silhouette. Some people are able to immediately see a drawing hidden in a stereogram, while others spend a lot of time and effort to see at least something - but in fact, everyone can look at stereograms and see the images encoded in them. This is not so difficult to learn.

Instructions

Step 1

In order to see the figure intended for you in the stereogram, relax and defocus your gaze, directing it through the picture in front of you. When you feel that your gaze is directed into the distance, sharply focus on the volumetric image.

Step 2

Such training is extremely useful for vision, but at first, do not overwork your eyes and look at stereograms only until you get tired. Relax and try to look at the new drawing.

Step 3

Start learning to look at stereograms with clear and repeating patterns. The width of the columns with patterns should not be less than 3 cm and more than 6 cm. Sit in front of the three-dimensional picture at a distance of half an outstretched arm, and then relax your eyes and peer into the distance through the sheet with pictures, as if ignoring it.

Step 4

Strive to ensure that your gaze is as defocused as possible - as if there is no drawing in front of you. After that, begin to carefully select the distance from the eyes, at which the patterns on the stereogram begin to fold into a meaningful figure.

Step 5

Move the stereogram relative to your eyes smoothly and very slowly, moving it from yourself, then towards yourself. At one point, you will feel that you begin to notice the silhouette of the volumetric image within the patterns. When you notice the silhouette of a three-dimensional image, do not focus on it - continue looking through the stereogram.

Step 6

Learn to smoothly defocus the gaze - this will help your eyes subsequently combine the pattern into a volumetric fragment. Train more often, and you will be able to keep this fragment with your eyes without focusing on the overall picture for as long as possible.

Step 7

Sometimes during training, you can see a figure cut out on a plane instead of a convex image - to prevent this from happening, make sure that your gaze is directed into the distance, and not crossed in front of the stereogram.

Step 8

At first, your volumetric pictures will be blurry and indistinct, but as the ability to see stereograms develops, you will be able to view them for a long time, and they will acquire clarity. Always keep the stereogram horizontally in front of you and try not to blink.
