Step 1
Come up with a main character and his friends. If you are writing a fairy tale for your own children, you can choose a boy or a girl with your child's name as the main characters. He will get into difficult situations during the story, get out of them, show kindness and courage, and your child will associate himself with this hero. If your audience is the youngest children, choose a kind animal or fictional creature as the main character. Give each character a sonorous yet simple name.
Step 2
Create difficulties for the heroes. Remember the most exciting fairy tales and stories, in which the main characters are always forced to solve problems, get out of difficult situations. The more confusing the circumstances, the more imagination the hero must display in order to get out of them. If this is a fairy tale for kids, do not overload the text with long logical chains "you need to do this, then you get something that needs to be brought to where something else happens and so on." The best stories for little ones are about the benefits, for example, washing hands before eating, about friendship, about how important it is to help elders.
Step 3
Come up with negative characters who always get in the way of the main characters, but in the end they will be punished. Such stories teach children to understand that good is good, even if in the adult world it is not so easy to operate with such categories. At the end of the tale, the negative hero can either correct himself or withdraw himself, it is not worth killing him even for good purposes.
Step 4
Send the main character of the fairy tale and his friends on a journey, the purpose of which is to find something important, fulfill their destiny, and help someone. As you progress through the path, allow the character to meet new friends, whom he can come to the rescue, and they will repay him with good at the right time.
Step 5
Finish the fairy tale in such a way that all the dreams of the protagonist come true, ideas come true, everyone who needed help received it and lived happily ever after.
