This is one of the basic principles of neuro-linguistic programming: the “not” particle immediately becomes a clue to a negative answer. Instead of "we cannot lose," say "we can win." In general, you should not use the words "loss", "defeat". There may be people on your team who take such words too close to their hearts.

A good way to set your team up for victory is to substitute concepts. Try to convince the players that it is not a game to be won or lost, but a routine job that just needs to be done well. In general, it has been noticed that not all players need to realize the enormous importance of winning in order to win, since the burden of responsibility that falls on them complicates the game for them. On the other hand, a certain type of people, on the contrary, needs to realize that they are doing something outstanding, heroic, and then their strength and will to win grow many times over.
