The model is not only a long-legged beauty walking the catwalk. Model is a concept that is much wider than the usual one that everyone knows. This is a simplified version of anything you create initially. So how do you learn how to draw models?

Step 1
Understand the types of existing models. The main view is a full-scale model, i.e. everything that we see and transfer to paper as a picture. Very often also used by sculptors. Model in construction - individual parts that give an idea of the complex shape of the product. The mold is also called a model for casting. A model in modeling is often found - small copies of cars and architectural structures. And, of course, a 3D model used in exciting action and fantasy special effects.
Step 2
Use the basic principles of drawing models for any kind of model. Take a close look at the object you are going to model. Draw horizontal and vertical sections in your mind to represent the volume of the figure. All objects have a structure that obeys certain laws.
Step 3
Mark the main points of the drawn model of the subject. These will be the vertex points, the boundary points of the axes, both vertical and horizontal, and points that indicate the contours of the planes.
Step 4
Draw from general to detail. Draw geometric shapes along the marked points, allowing you to place the model within its framework. Mark the main nodes and draw them. In the initial stages, paint the model as transparent. To train the technique of depicting models, look at the object being drawn for 2-3 minutes. Be sure to compare the drawing with the original, identifying flaws using a mirror image of the picture.
Step 5
Draw a female model. Draw the figure of a person, observing all proportions, i.e. the height of the head should fit the length of the body 8 times. Now stretch your legs slightly out of proportion. Also depict the lines of the hips and shoulders more angular with sharp outlines. The thickness of the limbs should be as low as possible. Add clothes and the model is ready.
