Lyubov Grigorievna Polishchuk - People's Artist of the Russian Federation. She has always been loved by theater and film audiences, although she often played secondary roles on the screen. However, her heroines have always been bright, memorable, like the actress herself.
Lyubov Polishchuk was born in Omsk on May 21, 1949. The girl's fate was immediately clear - she would become an artist. She had all the inclinations for this, and the desire. But I constantly had to overcome many difficulties on the way to fulfilling my dreams. Polishchuk loved to dance and wanted to enter a ballet school, but she was not accepted because she was too tall. Then she chose another creative direction and joined the choir, and as a result she began to solo.
She did not get to Moscow immediately. Late for the entrance exams to a theater university, the applicant was forced to return from the capital to her hometown. At first she worked at the local philharmonic society, where she showed her still amateur acting talents. Then she entered the All-Russian creative workshop of pop art. The workshop worked from Rosconcert, and it so happened that in 1971 the former head of the Omsk Philharmonic Yuri Yurovsky became its director. This coincidence gave Polishchuk a ticket to life. Yurovsky invited her to perform at the Moscow Music Hall.
Second roles
In Moscow, Polishchuk first had to face everyday problems. She had already divorced her husband, who drank heavily, and was left with a small son in her arms, with whom she settled in a rented apartment. I literally had to survive, so for some time the mother had to send the child to an orphanage. But even after hitting the big screen, Lyubov Grigorievna did not say goodbye to problems forever. Her first role was in the film "Starling and Lyra". The role is episodic, after which the aspiring film actress was invited to shoot other films. Polischuk became truly famous by playing Madame Gritsatsueva in Mark Zakharov's film "Twelve Chairs". The most memorable moment was the tango performed by Lyubov Polishchuk with the people's favorite Andrei Mironov.
But, having learned the taste of fame, the artist remained on the sidelines in the shadow of celebrities. According to rumors, not giving her the role of the main characters was an order from above, the officials thought the actress's face was "non-Soviet."
After that, Lyubov Grigorievna graduated from GITIS, played in various theaters in Moscow. But, despite the secret boycott, she conquered the audience from the movie screens. She was still not the first violin in a film orchestra, but the images of her heroines flashed with the light of real stars. Such is, for example, the role in the film "My sailor". Most of all, movie lovers remember the prostitute Zina in "Intergirl". The film premiered in 1989, and five years later Lyubov Polishchuk was awarded the title of People's Artist of the Russian Federation.
Through pain
All these years, until her death, Lyubov Grigorievna played both in the cinema and on the theater stage. True, since 2000, she was forced to wear an orthopedic suit. The reason was the accident, which the actress got into. She repeatedly underwent treatment for prolapsed intervertebral discs, but the doctors could not completely solve the problem. In 2005, Polishchuk was diagnosed with oncology.
Part of her spine was removed. But the disease was getting worse. Despite this, Polishchuk continued to act. Her last role was nanny Vicky's mom in the TV series My Fair Nanny.
The actress was still doing her job one hundred percent, although she did it through severe pain. She was already in the hospital, but could not help but ask for time off for the last day of shooting. This was in March 2006. On November 25, Lyubov Grigorievna fell into a coma. Three days later she was gone, she never regained consciousness. The cause of death of the actress was a hypertensive crisis. Lyubov Polishchuk was buried at the Troekurovsky cemetery in Moscow. A crystal bust is installed on her grave.
