You don't need to be able to paint to transform your home with beautiful paintings. You can make a portrait of a loved one in a couple of minutes using a quick watercolor technique. It will look great in the interior and is perfect for a gift.
It is necessary
- - a computer;
- - digital photograph of a person;
- - Printer;
- - paper for printer;
- - pencil;
- - watercolor paper;
- - watercolor paints.
Instructions
Step 1
Find a good digital photograph of a person with clear light and shadow on their face. Don't stop at one photo, you may have to choose from several.
Step 2
Open your photo in PicMonkey, a free photo editor. You can use Adobe Photoshop or another program.
In PicMonkey, select the "Options" action from the left sidebar. It is a small glass symbol. For Effects, select Pasteurize.
Step 3
In Pasteurize, move the number of colors down to 2.
Step 4
Your photo should be in black and white. Now adjust the paper resolution on the printer. Make it what your painting will be.
Step 5
If you printed a photo, flip it over onto a pre-prepared graphite sheet. Such a sheet is very simple to create: the surface must be densely painted with a pencil.
Step 6
Transfer the contours of the face to watercolor paper. Color the entire portrait in one color, occasionally glance at the printed copy to check the saturation.
