Oh, how romantic it is in our digital age to receive a handwritten letter in the mail, especially from a loved one, even if you live in the neighboring streets. After all, such a letter is a memory, it can be stored for many years, and then shown to children and grandchildren. And it is better to make an envelope for a letter with your own hands.

Instructions

Step 1

There is nothing complicated about it. You will need an A4 sheet. It can be not only a simple white sheet, but also a sheet of colored paper or special paper with a pattern. You also need to prepare two paper strips measuring 12, 3x4 cm and stationery glue.

Step 2

Place an A4 sheet vertically on the table and fold as follows: fold the top edge of the sheet 5, 1 cm wide, and fold the rest of the sheet in half. It turned out to be a blank for an envelope. Now take the prepared strips of paper and fold them in half lengthwise. Spread each resulting "corner" from the outside with office glue and place from the inside of the future envelope on each side. The envelope is ready.

Step 3

Now you need to carefully outline the fields for specifying the addressee and the sender and write them. If you have chosen colored paper of a saturated color or paper with a bright pattern for making an envelope, then it is better to place such margins on white paper, and then cut them out and stick them on the front side of your envelope: such appliqués can be made as real decorations, giving them a shape, for example, hearts or any other of your choice.

Step 4

Decorate the envelope with appliques, stickers, drawings, and other decorative elements - follow the flight of your imagination. Cuttings from magazines and your own photographs are suitable for appliqués. Individual elements can be made from colored paper. Also useful are strings and pieces of various materials, dried leaves and flowers.

Step 5

Now all that remains is to put a letter in an envelope, seal it, stick a stamp, kiss and send it by mail.
