If you love and appreciate such a direction in music as hip-hop, then no doubt you already have a desire to learn how to write rap lyrics. Of course, this is not as easy as it might seem at first glance, but as they say: "Patience and work will grind everything."
It is necessary
a sheet of paper, a pen, a video with a famous rap performer
Instructions
Step 1
Remember that you must train long and hard to achieve your goal - this is one of the basic rules. Try to write lyrics every day, practice as soon as possible. Chat with friends on social networks using the techniques you know, write texts on the subway (on the way to school, to university, on a date).
Step 2
Consider the fact that at first it can be really difficult for you. The main thing is not to give up what you started after having suffered one setback. Listen to famous performers more often in order to draw from their work those pieces of the puzzle that you lack to understand the whole picture of the process of writing an intimate text (however, do not imitate everything, because you have to develop your own style).
Step 3
When writing rap lyrics, keep in mind that it must have meaning, rhythm and, no doubt, rhyme. It is important that the emphasis is placed equally on each of the components. The more extraordinary and original rhymes you use, the better.
Step 4
A standard rap verse should be an even number of lines (usually at least sixteen) and four squares (or quatrains). Observe this condition in your creative process. But you can compose any chorus (most often it is one or two squares, less often - several words).
Step 5
Write texts using a variety of rhymes: contiguous, cross, ring, blank, mixed (or woven). The adjacent rhyme is the most popular with rappers. However, if you skillfully use others, the text will turn out to be more vivid and expressive.
Step 6
Having written the "draft" text, put it on a bit in order to understand what needs to be finalized and what should be left unchanged. Start writing with the easiest one. You are unlikely to create a masterpiece from the first time, but mastering all the technique in stages, you will succeed!
