Fishing with a spinning rod has many advantages over fishing with an ordinary rod. An integral part of such fishing is a special reel on which the line is wound, and if you want to master the merits of spinning fishing, you need to learn how to tie a line to the reel. This can be done in a simple and generally recognized way, which you will learn about from our article.
Instructions
Step 1
You will need a spool, line, wide tape, and three small coins. On a thin line (0, 2), tie a regular knot and tighten. Place the knotted fishing line in front of you on the table so that the knot is on the left, the free end of the line on the right, and the distance between them forms a small open loop on the table.
Step 2
Place one coin at the top of the loop, and place the remaining two coins on the line to the left and right, so that the coins form a triangle. Cross the end with a knot over the free side of the line and press the line over the knot again with a dime.
Step 3
With the end of the knotted line, circle the free side, making a loop. The knot should be inside the loop. After changing its position, press it down again with a coin.
Step 4
Pull a knot under the line and make a few loops around it, again pressing the line down with a coin to keep it from unraveling. You should have a small noose loop with weaves on both sides. On the one hand, the end of the line, tied with a knot, comes out of the stranglehold, and on the other, a free edge.
Step 5
Place the large loop to the right of the noose over the roll of wide scotch tape so that it does not tighten, and tighten the noose, forming a small, strong knot.
Step 6
The finished loop will sit firmly on the reel. Then you can wind the line on the reel without the danger of losing the poorly tied line - the above method allows you to tie the line to the reel as firmly and reliably as possible.
