Step 1
Around this mysterious game, the plot of the film of the same name by Joe Johnston, released in 1995, is built. Nobody knows where the box came from with the inscription "Jumanji" on the lid and the game inside, so reminiscent of an ordinary desktop "walker".
Step 2
She is found on the shore by a boy named Alan, the son of a shoe factory owner, and, together with his girlfriend Sarah, begins to play without even understanding the rules and the warning on the box lid. The kids are so impatient! They manage to make only one move, and Alan is sucked into the game, and Sarah runs away in fright.
Step 3
But the game is waiting for new players - it knows how to wait! 26 years later, a shoe factory has already been ruined and closed, and Alan's parents rest in the local cemetery. The boy's mysterious disappearance has become an eerie local legend. But the house in which he once lived is bought by Nora, who is raising two nephews - the children of her deceased brother. In the attic of the mysterious house, the children find a game and, in order to have fun, they take turns throwing the dice and making moves! The game has come to life again!
Step 4
Each move releases more and more mysterious forces: wild animals and huge insects appear, the earth is shaken by natural disasters, and the house turns into a kingdom of tropical plants. Children quickly realize that just closing the lid and throwing the strange box away will not work - the game must be finished.
Step 5
They also find out that besides them, 2 more players are participating in the game. At some point, the game returns Alan (actor Robin Williams), who has grown up and run wild in the strange "transcendental" world. Sarah is also located.
Step 6
Two children and two adults, overcoming fear and desire to hide away from all the horrors of the game, continue it, trying to reach the final as soon as possible. They understand that this is the only way to fix the situation and stop the disasters caused by the game.
Step 7
The situation is complicated by the fact that the game spews out from its bowels another character - a hunter who wants only one thing - to kill Alan. Fleeing from the hunter, fighting for their own lives and safety, in horror, people still continue to play.
Step 8
As it should be in films of this kind, the scary tale ends with a happy ending: life returns to its normal course, Alan and Sarah unite in a happy couple, and the children prevent the death of their parents. It would seem that all the consequences of terrible adventures have been eliminated, but the memory of them remains. "Jumanji" taught its players to value life, the warmth of human relations, taught to take care of their world, so fragile and unstable.
