Biography
Samuel Timothy "Tim" McGraw was born on May 1, 1967 in Delhi, Louisiana. His parents are Elizabeth Treisble and Frank Edwin McGraw Jr. There are 2 younger sisters. Tim is of Italian ancestry on his mother and Scottish-Irish on his father.
The boy was raised by his mother, since his father left them after his birth. At that time, Elizabeth Treisble married Horace Smith, and young Tim from childhood considered him his father. Once Tim, already in an older age, accidentally stumbled upon his birth certificate and saw the truth hidden from him. Then Tim's mother had to tell everything, she showed school photos and said that Tim's real father, Tag McGraw, is a famous American baseball player (Frank Edwin McGraw Jr., known as Tug McGraw).
