It is necessary

  • - Adobe Premier Pro;
  • - subtitles for the film;

Instructions

Step 1

Study the disc you intend to purchase carefully. The cover usually contains a list of languages into which the subtitles for the film have been translated. If you do not find any such indications, contact your dealer. Ask him to turn on the movie and check if there are subtitles in the movie.

Step 2

Try to find subtitles on the internet. They are often uploaded as a text file. And with the special functions of the player, you can download the downloaded subtitles for viewing. If your player does not have these features, or for some reason does not load subtitles, try opening the movie with another player.

Step 3

Embed subtitles in the movie yourself. To do this, turn the subtitle text you downloaded (or your own translation) into titles using any video editor. For example, using the Adobe Premier Pro program.

Step 4

Download Adobe Premier Pro, create a new project. Import the movie file into the project, place it on the video track. Create a title using the New command from the File menu. When the window for creating a title opens, just copy the translation text into it in parts. Place text at the bottom of the screen, use a contrasting color in relation to the entire image for titles. For example, yellow or white.

Step 5

Place the created title exactly under the frame in which the phrase you want is playing on the video track located above your main track. Pay attention to the speed at which titles appear and disappear. After installing each new title, check if you have time to read it. To do this, start the slider of the player by pressing the spacebar.

Step 6

Make sure that the created titles do not overlap each other, appear at the right moment, and be noticeable in the frame. Take a preview of the movie in Adobe Premier Pro itself. If you are sure that the credits are accurate, export the movie from the project.
