Footprints are knitted slippers. You can make both everyday footprints and smart ones. Very beautiful footprints are obtained from multi-colored yarn. They are comfortable to wear for both adults and children. The footprints take on the shape of your feet during wear, so you won't feel them.

The process of making knitted footprints is quite simple. They are made on two needles. You will get beautiful and original slippers, which will be pleasant for you to wear, and can be presented as a gift to your loved ones.

It is necessary

  • - knitting needles;
  • - yarn;
  • - measuring tape;
  • - hook;
  • - scissors.

Instructions

Step 1

Cast on 56 stitches on the needles. In each row, remove the first loop, knit the last one with a purl.

1 row - 27 front loops, yarn, 2 front loops, yarn, 27 front loops.

2nd row - purl loops.

3 row - 28 front loops, yarn, 2 front loops, yarn, 28 front loops.

4 row - purl loops.

Step 2

Tie 10 more rows in this way. In the center of each front row, make increases: yarn over, knit 2, yarn over.

15 row - knit with front loops, without making additions.

16 row - purl loops.

17 row - knit with front loops, not reaching the middle of 7 loops.

Step 3

Now follow the sole of the sled:

Tie 1 row of soles (central 14 loops) as follows: remove 1 loop, 12 front loops, 2 loops together (1 central + 1 from the side). Expand knitting.

2 row of soles: remove 1 loop, 12 front loops, knit 2 loops together (1 center + 1 from the other side). Expand knitting.

Continue knitting the sole, gradually collecting the loops from the sides. Now there are 14 stitches left on the needles.

Step 4

Back of the track: knit the remaining 14 stitches in 16 rows according to the figure.

Sew it to the sides of the footprint.

Step 5

Simple tracks can be knitted in another way.

Prepare warm yarn and knitting needles for work. Cast on forty loops on the knitting needles and tie the first row with an English rubber band. In the second row, knit eighteen stitches, sew a yarn over, knit a face stitch, sew a yarn over again, then knit two face stitches, another yarn over, and continue knitting according to this pattern until the beginning of the third row. Knit the third row with purl stitches, including yarns.

Step 6

You have a blank, with two well-noticeable center loops. Place in the center in front of and after the two center buttons of the yarn. This will enlarge your blade by four loops. Knit another ten yarns on each side (a total of 10 more rows). Then knit the next six rows with the face stitches. Knit the string row to the middle and knit five center loops.

Step 7

Tie the fifth and sixth loops into one, unfold the work and knit five face loops again. Knit the fifth and sixth loops into one and close the sock with a trace.

Step 8

Knit ten yarns on each side, then knit six rows with simple face stitches. In the sixth row, tie the loops to the middle and tie the center five loops.

Step 9

Knit the fifth and sixth stitches in a row together, then turn the workpiece and knit five more knit stitches. Knit the fifth and sixth stitches again. Close the sock of the future trail.

Step 10

Knit the product in the same way until you have five stitches on the needles. Now you need to close the workpiece foot. From the side of the garment, take one loop and knit five more loops. Then knit in one first and fifth stitches. Reverse the knitting and again pick up the side loop and knit first five stitches, and then knit into one first side stitch and the last fifth stitch.

Step 11

After that, five center loops will remain on the needles. All you have to do is close the heel and tie the garment to the end. Close the loops and crochet the tail of the thread. Tie the second track in the same way.

Step 12

The next way to knit footprints is probably the easiest. Tie a test piece before starting work to determine the density of the knit.

Step 13

Measure the foot with a measuring tape. Then multiply the result by the number of loops that fit on the test canvas in one centimeter.

Step 14

Cast on the desired number of loops. Now knit with a single elastic (knit one, purl one) for 18-20 rows. This strip will be the side of your future runner. To find out if the footprint is sufficient, place a tied blade over your foot. If the height is normal, go to the next step.

Step 15

Divide all loops in half, define the center ten loops. Knit nine of them, then knit two in one tenth and eleventh loops. Then unfold the knitting and knit the next row with purl loops, removing the first loop and reshaping the tenth and eleventh loops.

Step 16

Then turn the knitting back to the front side and knit according to the following pattern: knit in one of the first of the central loops and the previous one, then eight knit loops and again - two into one.

Step 17

Knit the fourth and all subsequent even rows like the second. The fifth and all subsequent odd rows are the same as the first and third.

Step 18

Knit in this way until there are ten center loops on the needles.

Step 19

Then start knitting the "tongue" of the footprint. It is knitted similarly to the "sole". When the tongue is long enough, close the hinges. If you want to keep the track more firmly on your leg, tie it on top with a crochet hook.

Step 20

According to the same description, you can link a track that will slightly differ from the one made according to the same scheme. To make such a track, knit a strip-"side" not with a single elastic band, as in the previous example, but with a garter stitch. In even and odd rows, it is knitted with front loops. The sole and "tongue" - the toe are made according to the previous description (from the front side - front, from the wrong side - purl).
